About Thamilar

Thamilar.com is a news hub for Tamils around the world. It brings news from Canada, Tamil Nadu, India, Sri Lanka and the wider world onto one page, in Tamil and English.

How it works

Every few hours, the site collects headlines and short introductions from the public RSS feeds of trusted news publishers. Every story links to the publisher that reported it, where you can read it in full.

Today's Briefing

Each morning we publish a short summary of the day's most important news, written in our own words.
